Wow, what can I say about this painting? It evolved over a period of a couple of years. The original concept was to paint a dramatic night sky. I’ve sailed on nights like these when the moon’s reflection looked like diamonds on the water. It always seems like magic to me.  As it turned out it is a self-portrait. I used myself as the model looking out.
